Karen Springer sources selections that reflect Colombian and Costa Rican traditions and use natural materials such as seeds, fruit rinds, coffee, wood, and more. ArtSI — The collective known as ArtSI (artists of Shelter Island) hosts an annual open studio tour in August. But individual artists offer their artworks and services year-round. You can find information about ARTSI member artists and links to their websites at artsi.info/artists.

Havens Store — The Shelter Island Historical Society hosts an eclectic collection of gifts from over 20 local artists and artisans at the Havens Store. Located in the Shelter Island History Center, 16 South Ferry Road, the Havens Store is usually open Wednesday to Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM. However, it is closing Friday, December 24, until spring to prepare for the 100th anniversary in 2022. Or, shop online at shelterislandhistorical.org/.
