The 33rd Annual Maritime Festival is this weekend in Greenport, featuring all sorts of nautical nonsense and a dose of history, too!
Events take place on Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24, from 10 AM to 5 PM on both days.
One highlight is the Maritime Festival Parade and Merry Merfolk Costume Contest, which kicks off on Saturday at 11 AM (the parade runs from Broad and Main to Front and Third Streets).
