The Shelter Island 2023 Fall 5K Run/Walk, “Outrunning Cancer,” is Saturday, October 21, at 11 AM, rain or shine.
Sign up today through EliteFeats, the race organizer. Whether you’re joining the 5K Run/Walk, or the 5K Race Walk, the registration fee is $40 per person in advance ($50 on race day).

The Fall 5K course provides views of some of Shelter Island’s prettiest autumn foliage, including the gorgeous woods along Nostrand Parkway, and ends up at Crescent Beach.
The goal is to raise funds and awareness for the North Fork Breast Health Coalition, the Coalition for Women’s Cancers, and Lucia’s Angels, with proceeds going directly to patient care for East End women.
