The Shelter Island Lions Club has announced $12K in new scholarships for two graduating seniors pursuing education beyond high school. These are in addition to the Lions Club's annual Jack Monaghan scholarship.

The PTSA is seeking donations for its annual holiday boutique. New and gently used items for the whole family are in demand, as are wrapping supplies, boxes, and gift bags and tags.

Shelter Island School students are participating in the annual school Science Fair, but with a new format. Due to ongoing pandemic concerns, there will be no public participation.
The Shelter Island PTSA will host its annual Scholastic Book Fair beginning October 18 outdoors at the school (and online).
