Souper Bowl of Caring a success!

The National Honor Society ran a two-week Souper Bowl of Caring to raise funds and collect items for the Shelter Island Food Pantry.

This just in from adviser Janine Mahoney: “$300 and 631 food items were raised during our two-week-long battle of the Odd Grades vs. the Even Grades. The Odd team led well into the fourth quarter but was defeated when a donation check put the Even team ahead. We are so thankful for the generosity of our amazing community. Pictured are members of the NHS (with a few NJHS members sprinkled in) as they delivered the food, sorted it, and stocked the pantry shelves.”
