The PTSA of Shelter Island reminds parents/guardians that Teacher Appreciation Week starts on May 2. All are welcome to contribute to the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Friday, May 6.
Monday, the week kicks off with breakfast from STARs Café and Elli’s Country Store. For the Friday luncheon, the PTSA will provide lunch from Shelter Island Slice and invites supporters to provide dessert items.
“Now that we are returning to ‘normal’ we are able to accept food donations for Friday’s luncheon,” the PTSA said in an email to supporters. “If you and your family would like to contribute a side dish or dessert on Friday, please contact Vicki at 631-965-6065.”
Please note: the PTSA can accept and serve homemade dishes. But food items that are typically served by hand must be individually wrapped to ensure safe handling. In addition, sides or desserts must be delivered to school on Friday, May 6, before 10:30 AM.
