Sylvester Manor lights up the restored 1810 Shelter Island Windmill, decked out for the holiday season. All are welcome to attend the festivities on Friday, December 9, from 4 to 5 PM.
Enjoy cookies and hot chocolate and listen to Christmas carols at the Manor’s Windmill Field. The lighting takes place at 4:30 PM.
This outdoor event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. Severe weather cancels.
Please note: Sylvester Manor trails are otherwise closed to the public through January 31 in cooperation with the Town of Shelter Island’s deer management program.
