Vine Street Café: Grapevine Wreath Workshop

VSC grapevine wreath workshop with littlespoon southfork

Vine Street Café will host an evening of holiday spirit with a Grapevine Wreath Workshop led by Littlespoon South Fork. Participants joining the workshop will work with grapevines, freshly cut greens and dried flowers grown right here on Shelter Island. Everything to make your wreath is provided in the workshop, just bring your friends and family to enjoy an evening of holiday fun.

In addition to the wreath making, the bar will be open for wine, cocktails and beer. There will also be a special $35 three course pre-fixe menu for guests wishing to dine after the workshop.

The Grapevine workshop is led by Arielle Gardener, proprietor of Littlespoon South Fork, an online floral and garden design business located on Shelter Island. The workshop cost is $50. In keeping with the spirit of holiday giving, ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to the local charity, Long Island Head Start. The Head Start Program provides comprehensive early childhood education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income and at-risk children and their families.

“I love hosting workshops that bring our community together in a creative way and support small businesses,” Gardener said.

The workshop takes place at the Vine Street Café, 41 South Ferry Road on Sunday, December 12 from 5 PM to 7 PM. Bookings for the workshop will be open through Sunday. Pay in person or save your spot and pay for the workshop online with advance registration. To reserve a table for dinner after the workshop, call 631-749-3210.
