Sylvester Manor hosts a screening party for a Cornell Cooperative (CCE) Extension Marine Program news magazine episode about work in local waters to support shellfish.
“On the Water + In the Field” is an online show produced by the CCE Marine Program. It seeks to educate the public on current projects, issues, and research pertaining to our marine environment.
The episode features stories on the shellfish and habitat work being conducted in Shelter Island’s waters, hard clam research, the 2023 Back to the Bays collaborations, and more.

Join the CCE staff and collaborators for a reception and screening of the current episode on Saturday, September 9, at 6:30 PM at Sylvester Manor.
There is no charge to attend, but space is limited, so please reserve your free tickets while they last. A reception celebrating the project collaborators begins at 6:30 PM; the screening follows at 7:30 PM.
