Mashomack Preserve hosts a summer solstice paddle through Bass Creek on the first evening of summer.
On Tuesday, June 21 at 6 PM, staff will provide kayaks and life jackets and will lead the way through Mashomack’s tranquil marsh waters. Sign up to explore the abundant wildlife and new growth of summer.
RSVPs are needed by Sunday, June 19. Sign up by emailing MashomackPreserve@tnc.org.
Participants should arrive prepared with:
- Water shoes (or any shoes that can get wet!)
- Bottle of water
- Bug spray
Please note: ticks are common throughout Mashomack and participants should take appropriate precautions. If you get bitten by a tick, please contact a healthcare professional.
Events at Mashomack Preserve are free of charge, but donations are welcome.
