Help the crew at Mashomack Preserve spruce up the Visitor Center in time for spring guests. Join the cleanup on Saturday, March 26, from 9 AM to noon.
Closed since the start of the pandemic, the Mashomack Visitor Center needs a little TLC. Tasks include collecting sticks and other debris from winter storms, removing unwanted vines that have crept in, and raking fallen leaves.
What to bring to the cleanup
The Preserve will provide all of the hand tools needed for the cleanup and gear, such as gloves, safety glasses, and hand sanitizer. In addition, volunteers should be prepared with:
- Long pants and closed-toed shoes
- Favorite pair of work gloves (if you have them)
- A water bottle and a snack.
