Garden Club of Shelter Island
This year, the Garden Club of Shelter Island is offering a holiday ornament that depicts North Ferry and South Ferry vessels overlaid on a cutout of the Island, surrounded by a looped rope festooned with an anchor and ship’s wheel. It is the 16th ornament in the collection, which celebrates various aspects of life here on Shelter Island and supports the Garden Club, one of the community’s oldest service organizations. The Garden Club takes care of our community gardens. The ornaments are available to purchase, $25 each, at the offices of:

Gardiner’s Bay Country Club Pro Shop
The pro shop at Gardiner’s Bay Country Club, always open to the public, welcomes shoppers through November. The Chequit opened a holiday shop in its Washington Street cottage. Chequit owner Stacy Soloviev also owns Santa’s Christmas Tree Farm in Cutchogue. The satellite store offers all you need to adorn your home including trees, ornaments, stockings, lights, and as many Santas, reindeers, and wreaths as you can think of.
