The Shelter Island Chamber of Commerce presents its 58th Annual Art Show & Craft Fair on Saturday, August 20.
The event, featuring artists and craftspeople from around the region, takes place on the Shelter Island School grounds from 10 AM to 5 PM. Vendors will display, demonstrate and sell original works in varied mediums and styles.
There is also a special youth section and a Shelter Island section for C of C members.
Admission is free, and there is plenty of nearby free parking. Vendors will contribute items to a raffle that raises funds for the Chamber’s high school scholarship program.
Green Expo
And don’t miss Green Expo, directly across School Street on the grounds of the Community Center. The Expo is a showcase organized by the Town’s Green Options Committee that features demonstrations and information about ways to go green.

The rain date for both events is Sunday, June 21.
