Sylvester Manor meditation sessions with Jean-Sebastien Brettes

Quiet your mind, expand your heart, and raise your energy in the beautiful outdoor setting of Sylvester Manor. In this series of four classes with instructor Jean-Sebastien Brettes, you will learn mindfulness meditation fundamentals that will allow you to foster a long-term personal practice.

He’ll teach techniques to increase awareness of the mind and self-knowledge, which are key mental development tools for understanding, accepting, and overcoming one’s own challenges. Additionally and in the context of COVID-19, you’ll learn and practice simple breathing techniques to help clear the mind, increase energy levels, reinforce the lungs, and strengthen the immune system.

Classes meet weekly on Fridays at 9 AM for 75 minutes at Sylvester Manor Educational Farm starting on August 7. The cost for the four-class series is $160. To register, visit sylvestermanor.org/calendar/2020/8/7/meditation.

For safety, classes will be held outside and will be limited to 10 people. In case of inclement weather, classes will be held remotely via Zoom.
