Sylvester Manor and the Shelter Island Public Library collaborate this summer to present weekly Story Thyme sessions.
Kids of all ages, but especially the wee ones, will appreciate farm-based stories as read by the library’s Youth Services director Sara Garcia on Saturdays at 10:30 AM at Sylvester Manor Farmstand.
No registration is necessary; just show up and enjoy the story amid the bucolic farm setting at Windmill Field, 21 Manwaring Road.
Story Thyme sessions begin July 2 and repeat weekly through August 27.
Children and families may also enjoy a visit to the Manor’s pigs, and picking up fresh produce and other farm products. Learn more on Sylvester Manor’s website.
And, the Shelter Island Public Library offers a robust schedule of free programs for people of all ages. For details, visit shelterislandpubliclibrary.org.
