Suffolk County reported 32,991 confirmed COVID-19 cases Monday morning. The number of confirmed cases on Shelter Island remained at seven, but local officials say they know of eight cases.
As of Sunday, 1,070 Suffolk County residents had died, including 28 from the day before. In all, 1,134 patients are hospitalized, a decrease of 41 from April 25. Of that number, 443 required treatment in an intensive care unit, a decrease of 10 patients.

*On Shelter Island, local officials say they know of eight cases including two patients who died, one who recovered and five active cases.
