If you have a child ages 8 to 12 who loves the outdoors, don’t miss your chance to register for the Mashomack Preserve Environmental Explorers program. Sign-up begins March 15.

Given the limited space, the program tends to fill up fast. It has three options, all Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 2 PM:

  • Session 1, July 10 to 13
  • Session 2, July 31 to August 3
  • Session 3, August 14 to 17

Kids will spend time on the trails and on the water hiking, paddling, and exploring Mashomack’s amazing fields, forests, and wetlands. During this active, hands-on program, they’ll learn about the fascinating natural world and how “we can ‘be the change’ we want to see for a better future,” the Preserve says.

Environmental Explorers is for children ages 8 to 12 or entering grades 3 to 7 in fall 2023. The cost is $350. Scholarships are available.

Online registration opens on March 15th. Registrations will not be accepted before that time.
