Farm fresh produce
The Havens Farmers Market opens for the season at the Shelter Island History Center on Saturday, May 29. Vendors will offer fresh produce and artisanal goods, as well as crafts, jewelry and artwork. Island Time Farm is back it with its signature locally-grown flowers and vegetables. Stars Café will host its kiosk with delicious breakfast pastries, burritos, coffee and more. Starting this week, the Sylvester Manor Farmstand will be open five days a week. Find fresh vegetables, berries and flowers, as well as locally-ground meat, eggs and dairy products. The Lettuce Lady is a new food service on Shelter Island, offering three delicious fresh and locally-sourced salads every week with delivery to your home or office.
