Kids ages 5 to 10 can spend time over school breaks connecting with nature at Sylvester Manor thanks to a new program called “Vivaldi Breaks.”

It offers four sessions that align with public school holidays and meet from 10 AM to 2 PM:

  • November 23 and 25
  • December 26 through 30
  • February 20 through 24
  • April 10 through 14

Each session will refer to “The Four Seasons” by Antonio Vivaldi (1678 to 1741), taking inspiration from the natural world in a musical representation of seasons. Children will create artwork, hear stories, design puppets, make animal dens, plant seedlings, and more, all while developing a connection from the forest and farm to the rest of the world.

“Sign your child up today to experience a dynamic, science-based, re-wilding curriculum, created in the spirit of kindness and compassion for the children of our changing world,” Sylvester Manor says.

You’re welcome to register your child for one day or an entire session with rates as follows:

  • Daily – $140 for non-residents and $70 for full-time, year-round residents
  • Weekly – $600 (non-resident) and $300 (resident)
