Missed the Shelter Island works on display at the annual Student Art Show? No worries. Art teacher Cat Brigham says you can join the Parrish Art Museum virtual tour this Friday.

Parrish Director Terrie Sultan and Education Director Cara Conklin-Wingfield will take a tour of the gallery tour and talk about the annual Student Exhibition. The show is a 65-year tradition at the Parrish that features works from students across the East End.

Among the works you’ll see are at least two by Shelter Island students, Brigham says. They are among the exhibition’s high school honorees selected by Professor Neill Slaughter of Long Island University.

The program will begin with a live introduction from Sultan, followed by the pre-recorded tour of the exhibition, and concluding with a live conversation with Conklin-Wingfield and live chat with the audience.

“Special highlights include this year’s high school artist honorees, chosen by Professor Neill Slaughter.”
