Fredric Bernstein Design presents Shelter Island Design Walk – UPDATE

Fredric Berstein hosts a Shelter Island Design Walk with socially-distanced visits to six local studios on Saturday, August 29.

Interior designer Fredric Bernstein is coordinating a Shelter Island design walk entitled “Day of Design Philosophies Around the Island” that features socially-distanced visits to six local studios.

Billed as the first annual Shelter Island Design Walk, the event originally scheduled for Saturday, August 29, has been moved to Sunday, August 30. The time is the same, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.

“The day will feature a chance to visit six Shelter Island-based interior designers in their own studios and shops,” says a news release. “Throughout the day, guests will be invited to hear designers from Fredric Bernstein Design, Ram Design, Heiberg Cummings, Dirt, Marika’s Eclectic Boutique, and Patricia McGrath Design speak about their own unique and signature design philosophies and inspirations.”

Bernstein credits Cristina Peffer of Ram Design, for approaching him “to forge a collaborative and supportive relationship as fellow Shelter Island designers and store owners. The spirit of the gesture inspired me to bring together other designers on the Island to celebrate our unique approaches to interior design along with ties that bind us together on this special Island.”
