Registration is underway for Shelter Island Recreation summer youth programs. Due to ongoing concerns relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town isn't asking for payments at this time. Recreation staff will contact those who do register with more information as it becomes available.
Starting Monday, May 4 you can register a child for Shelter Island Town summer programs — which may go forward depending on when restrictions relating to the novel coronavirus are lifted. The Town is not collecting payment at this time.
Sylvester Manor introduces a Forest Theatre Program this summer. Designed for children ages 8 to 12, its an addition to the farm-themed programs the Manor offers for younger kids.

Sylvester Manor Youth Programs 2019 registration is underway and the Little Sprouts and Young Farmers sections are filling up fast. Six week-long sessions for children ages 3 to 7 take place on the fields and grounds of Sylvester Manor Educational Farm. Children engage in a variety of activities, the Manor’s website says, such as farming basics, local history, environmental science and sustainability.
