Ram Design Home has also partnered with the Rogers & Goffigon, renowned for its textiles, to offer custom fabrics in addition to the Alfredo Paredes upholstery. Robin Rice — a longtime friend of both Paredes and Peffer — will show pieces from her art gallery and local ceramicists will present their work. Peffer is also planning gatherings at the shop to feature local residents addressing varied topics, including the arts, the environment, and the history of Shelter Island.

Paredes lives with his family nearby the shop and is actively involved with the Village of Dering Harbor. His presence at Ram Design Home is part of his ongoing support of local craftspersons and businesses, building on his commitment to helping preserve the unique character of Shelter Island.
