We are reporting the 2020 unofficial election results as they come in through the Suffolk County Board of Elections and other sources, updating the figures as they are tabulated. For the presidential race, we are reporting national results from the AP, with updates as absentee ballots are added to the Election Day in-person and early voting counts.
The Suffolk County tally doesn’t include absentee ballots, officials say they won’t start counting them for at least a week. It is unclear how many absentee ballots were submitted either by mail or in-person. Locally, tallies by Election District won’t be available until after all votes are reported, the BOE says.
