School: Students can get vaccinated at Stony Brook POD at Westhampton High

Shelter Island School Superintendent Brian Doelger said Wednesday that students can get vaccinated against COVID-19 at a Stony Brook Medicine POD at Westhampton High School.

Stony Brook is offering the 1st dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccination to eligible children ages 12 and up on Friday, September 10 from 3 to 6 PM by appointment only. Follow this link to see available appointments.

The POD will take place in Westhampton High School’s Large Group Instruction Room at 49 Lilac Road in Westhampton Beach. Organizers plan to distribute second doses on October 1.

Please bring identification and proof of age. Parent or Guardian must be present for those ages 12 to 17.

Please also complete and print your NYS vaccine consent before scheduling an appointment. Be sure to bring the completed consent to your appointment. 

Wear a short-sleeved shirt for ease of access to the vaccination site. Wear a mask and maintain social distancing.
