Ceramics class for adults with Cat Brigham

Cat Brigham teaches an “open level” ceramics class for adults, sponsored by the Shelter Island Recreation Department.

During eight weekly sessions in the Shelter Island School art room, participants will learn at their own pace within a group with varying experience levels. Learn to throw and trim a pot, scratch and attach, hand build, glaze, and more.

Classes are Tuesdays from 4 to 8 PM, starting April 18 through June 6.

Tuition is $165 and includes all clay, firings, glazes, and use of community supplies. Class is limited to 10 people, so sign up soon at shelterisland.recdesk.com.
