The Suffolk County Board of Elections is rolling out early voting for New York's general election. That means we're no longer limited to one day of voting. Instead, we'll have numerous chances to weigh in (but still get just one vote per person!) And during early voting, we can cast our ballots from any early voting location in Suffolk County.
The Town's Deer & Tick Committee has approved a three-year Deer & Tick Management Plan. It calls for a continuation of three strategies: culling the herd, killing ticks with chemicals, and educating the public about health hazards posed by overabundant deer and the ticks they carry.
