Here’s a yummy partnership — Sylvester Manor Educational Farm + 18 Bay Restaurant. Together they’re providing farm to community dining with curbside pickup.
“It’s important that we stick together in these trying times,” Sylvester Manor Educational Farm said in an email promoting the weekly meals that feature produce from the Manor’s Windmill Field.
To take part, you have to order by Thursday, April 23, 6:30PM for pickup on Saturday, April 25 between 4 and 6PM.
Menu for Saturday, April 25
Here’s the menu:
- Zaatar crusted heritage pork loin with oven roasted potatoes and Sylvester Manor seasonal vegetable, $40
- Roasted rack of lamb, roasted potatoes, and grilled asparagus, $50
- Hand made ricotta and spinach rotollo with roasted tomato sauce, and little gem and chicory salad with shaved fennel and citrus vinaigrette, $32
- Hemp seed crusted fennel steak with seasonal vegetable, $40
- Chocolate layer cake, $10
18 Bay is also offering two bottles of wine for takeout:
- Il Pioppo, Catarrato, DOC, Sicily 2016, $37
- Lioco, Chardonnay, Sonoma 2018, $47
COVID-19 precautions
18 Bay says it has been taking special precautions in light of the recent pandemic.
“Anyone who enters our establishment wears gloves and mask at all times,” the restaurant said in an email. “We at all times maintain at least 6 feet of separation and work in separate stations.”
“We are a small team that takes this very seriously. We appreciate everyone following pickup instructions, including not getting out of your car at pickup time. Quality control is always at the top of our priority list and even more so now.”
