Suffolk County: 25,295 confirmed COVID-19 cases

Suffolk County reported 25,295 confirmed COVID-19 cases Friday, up 942 from the day before. The number of confirmed cases on Shelter Island remained at six.

As of Thursday, the countywide death toll was 693. Of the confirmed cases, 1,585 were hospitalized on Thursday, down 45 from the day before. Of those hospitalized, 537 required treatment in an intensive care unit, a decrease of 25 from the day before.
