Shelter Island Police made a harassment arrest. Daniel C. Brock, 36, of Shelter Island was arrested on August 7 around 9:20 PM and charged with harassment in the second degree, according to a police report.
“The above-named defendant was arrested and charged with the aforementioned offense as a result of a domestic dispute investigation,” said SIPD Detective Sergeant Jack H. Thilberg in a news release Sunday afternoon.
“The defendant was held overnight for arraignment, where he was released on his own recognizance, and directed to return to court at a later date. An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim,” Det/Sgt Thilberg said.
