County: potential COVID-19 exposure at two Oakdale restaurants

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services is warning of potential COVID-19 exposure at two Oakdale restaurants: Mannino’s and The Village Idiot Irish Pub.

The dates of possible exposure were October 29 to November 4 at Mannino’s and October 31 to November 2 at The Village Idiot. Anyone who visited these restaurants during those dates may have been exposed to COVID-19, SCDOH says.

“Those who were potentially exposed should monitor themselves for symptoms for 14 days after visiting the restaurant,” the department said in a statement issued Wednesday.

According to the CDC, symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

Suffolk County health officials also encourage potentially exposed persons to get tested for COVID-19. For information on COVID-19, visit suffolkcountyny.gov.
